Do you have to bring solar lights in in the winter? - solar fairy lights

I have many solar lights in my garden, and I'm not sure if putting them in the winter. The instructions say it must be protected against "unfavorable weather conditions, but I live on the south coast of England and the weather is not very serious. I have a little fairy lights hanging from a tree, and it took some time to myself so to organize, I am reluctant to take it unnecessarily.
